Lucy “Mimi” Georgette Murphy, 97, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Lucy was born on October 2, 1920, in France. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Mary Yates of Port Neches, TX; daughter -in-laws, Jill Murphy-Wills and husband John,of Port Neches, TX and Beth DeCuir of Groves, TX; grandchildren, Justin Yates, JimBob Murphy and wife Brooke, Kevin Murphy and wife Jennifer, Sarah Murphy-Bennett and husband Jason, Ashley Peltier and husband Justin,

and Amy Murphy; great-grandchildren, Grady Murphy, Tucker Murphy, Lace Murphy, Hana Murphy, Reese Peltier and Ryann Peltier; and a host of extended family in France. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rex E. Murphy; sons, Raymond Eugene Murphy and Donald James Murphy.
