Luis Edward “Eddie” LeBlanc, 58, of Silsbee, Texas passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont with his family by his side.
Eddie was born on September 15, 1964, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Rosa Perez LeBlanc and Vernon LeBlanc. He was a self-employed independent contractor in the construction field for many years. Eddie was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Silsbee and was very active with the ACTS programs in the Beaumont Diocese. He enjoyed fishing and loved all dogs, especially the last one he had around, “Woodrow” who even came to his bedside before he passed away. Eddie loved all of his family but he especially was close to his great nephew, Blyth who he had a special bond with.
Survivors include his siblings, Michael LeBlanc and his wife Marlee of Plano, Texas, Deborah LeBlanc of Silsbee, David LeBlanc and his wife Liane of Silsbee and Derrick LeBlanc of Silsbee; nieces and nephews, Sydnee LeBlanc, Colby LeBlanc, Baylee LeBlanc, Erika Sheard and Kimberly McCarty.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Rosa LeBlanc.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church located at 905 N. 9th Street; Silsbee, TX 77656. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Private cremation services will take place at a later date.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jerry Joe Wilkerson, Jim Maxey, Tommy Perez, Troy Droddy, John McCarty and Brent Wester.
