Obituary
Luke Mondello, Jr., 57 of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Luke was born December 10, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to Luke Mondello, Sr. and Evelyn Marie Hebert Mondello. He was a lifelong Port Arthur resident of was a self-employed photographer. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Luke is survived by one sister, Donna S. Portwood and brother-in-law, Elton C. Portwood, Jr. of Port Arthur. Cremation was under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

If there are angels on earth, he was one! He truly was such a kind and gentle soul who never judged anyone, he just had love in his heart for anyone who crossed his path. Heaven is brighter now !

Luke was always carrying his camera with him taking pictures. I will miss him and his good nature. I have a chipped front tooth from playing football with Luke. Rest in Peace, Lionel Barbosa.

Luke was a great guy. He was a good ole Catholic boy. He was responsible for me meeting one of the loves of my life. Rudy was there to greet him up in heaven. They both left this life too soon. My heart goes out to his family. He left us all with many photos of good times with our friends. He will be missed. R.I.P. Luke

I'v know Luke for many years,he was good friends with my brother,kenny wolford,we had many laughs with Luke,he was a joy to be around and so kind.Will miss seeing him.Sue garner and Especially Kenny whom was his neighbor for many years.RIP Luke
