Luther L. Glover, 97, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Luther was born June 25, 1913 in Hayworth, Oklahoma to Robert Glover and Ollie Cherry Glover. He was a resident of Groves for 66 years and retired from Atlantic Richfield Refinery. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Alma Glover of Groves, TX; two daughters, Marilyn G. Duhon and husband, Gerard of Houston, TX, Janet Tate and husband Gerald of Port Neches, TX; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Gordon Huebel officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
