Lydia Andrews, 56, of Nederland, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, in Port Arthur. Lydia was born on October 7, 1961, in Port Arthur to the late Ray Fletcher and Charlene Lower Fletcher.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Michael Andrews, Sr. of Nederland; daughter, Brianna Andrews and son, Cody Andrews both of Nederland; sister, Carol Fletcher of Port Neches; brothers, Kenneth Tarnow and wife, Yvonne of Beauxart Gardens and Jon Tarnow and wife, Vicki of Lumberton. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Andrews, Jr.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Nederland. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Branson officiating. The interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Lydia was deeply loved by our congregation at the First Assembly of God, Nederland. She was a loving, faithful and effective worker and loyal employee who will be greatly missed for so many reasons. Her love for her family was obvious at all times as a great wife and mother. We have been honored to serve as her pastors and to call her our friend. May the God of all comfort be especially close to all of the family at this time and in the days ahead.

My dear Lydia - you were more than my family and sister-in-law. You were my friend and I will miss you. I know you are with lil’ Mike and your parents and that gives me comfort but I will still grieve for your presence here with me. Mike, Cody and Brianna- my heart breaks for you.
