Lydia “Dianne” Ward, 68, of Port Neches, Texas passed away February 25, 2021. She was born in Vidor, Texas on October 13, 1953 to the late Lawrence Washington Sterling and Velma Mary Laurents Sterling.

Those left to cherish Lydia’s memory are her daughter, Rebecca Lynema of Beaumont; her son, William (Billy) Kempf, II of Port Arthur; her grandchild, Alexandra Johnson of Port Neches; her great-grandchild, Madison Nicole Darden; her brothers, Rodney Sterling of Cypress, Jerry Sterling of Port Neches, and Bobby Sterling of Port Neches; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patsy Galaviz; and her brother, Gary Sterling.

A memorial service for Ms. Ward will be held at a later date.
