Lynda Joyce Dattalo Cardwell, 74, of Port Neches, Texas passed away June 29, 2020. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on May 7, 1946 to the late Peter Dattalo and Lorenza Broussard Dattalo. She enjoyed decorating cakes and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Nederland.
Those left to cherish Lynda’s memory are her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Cardwell of Port Neches; her daughter, Cherie Cardwell of The Woodlands; her son William Brett Cardwell and his wife Amanda of Spring; her grandchildren, Cassidy Cardwell, Cade Cardwell, and Charlotte Cardwell; her brother, Barry Dattalo and his wife Anna of Nederland; and her nieces, Annette and April. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Pete Dattalo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
In lieu of the usual remembrances, contributions may be given to the Humane Society.
