Lynn Charles Broussard, 79, of Port Neches, Texas died Friday, November 08, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. He was born on February 6, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to Thomas Broussard and Elia Breaux Broussard. Lynn graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Lamar State College in Beaumont. Lynn was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Port Neches Knights of Columbus #2461, and Antique Car Club. Lynn was an avid player/winner of Port Arthur News "I Beat Bob West". He retired from B.F. Goodrich as an Operator with 37 years of service. Lynn was also a US Army Veteran. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Military Graveside Rites to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 Noon until time of service on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol Broussard of Port Neches, Texas; three daughters, Ellie Teinert and husband Lance of College Station, Texas; Arlie McElduff and husband Gary of Nederland, Texas; Wendy Foster and husband Mike of Port Arthur, Texas; grandchildren, Chase Teinert and Lanie Teinert of College Station, Texas; brother, Floyd Broussard and wife Helen of Orange, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 27, PO Box 7607, Beaumont, Texas 77726.

He was always such an interesting and fun person to visit with. Mr. Broussard was wonderful man and leaves behind a legacy of his qualities thru his beautiful family.
