Malcolm "Buddy" Williams

          On July 5th, 2024, the world lost a remarkable soul as Malcolm "Buddy" Williams passed away in Nederland, Texas. Born on November 23, 1935, in Port Arthur, Texas, Malcolm's legacy extends far beyond his years.


          Malcolm was a man of many talents and passions. He was known for his tinkering skills and ability to fix anything that came his way. His love for motorcycles, cars, hot rods, and woodworking was evident in the meticulous craftsmanship he poured into everything he touched. A devoted NASCAR fan, Malcolm's enthusiasm for the sport brought him much joy through his years.


          Beyond his hobbies, Malcolm had a deep love for music and was a proud member of the band "The Legends." With over 60 years as a Mason, he embodied principles of fellowship and service throughout his life.


          One of Malcolm's proudest accomplishments was his unwavering dedication to his grandchildren. He was always there for them, willing to go above and beyond to show his love and support.


          Malcolm leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ginger Williams of Nederland; sons, Rick Williams and wife, Amy of Hemphill, David Williams and wife, Sharon of Port Neches, and Darrell Williams and wife, Carmen of Blanco; daughters, Nikki Vannoy and husband, Clint of Beaumont, and Stephanie Vaughan and husband, Ben of Beaumont; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Faye Roach, Kaye Epps, Jeanie Hodgson.


          He is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Vera Williams; brother, Edward Williams; and his sister, Diane Jones.


          Malcolm "Buddy" Williams will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, generosity, and zest for life will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

 

         May his memory be a blessing.


         Cremation is under the direction of Melancon's~Levingston Funeral Home, Nederland, Texas.
