Mannie Mary Gothia, 94, of Groves, Texas died Sunday February 7, 2010 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX. Mrs. Gothia was born September 3, 1915 in Port Arthur, Texas to Norbert Bellot and Elmire Lopez Bellot. She was a resident of Groves for 53 years and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She retired from Texaco Island Cannery and Grease Plant as general operator. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Monsignor Don Golasinski officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Peterson of Houston, TX; grandson, Mitchell Smith of Groves, TX; nieces, Dorothy Norton and Linda Davis both of Groves, TX; and nephew, Leland Bellot of Placentia, CA.
