Manuel Cleveland Ozio, 90, of Groves, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Renissance Hospital. Manuel was born June 24, 1920 in Berwick, Louisiana to Edward T. Ozio and Victoria Fells Ozio. He was a lifelong area resident and retired after 40 years of service with Carpenters Local #502. He was a member of Abundant Life Sanctuary, member of Port Arthur Masonic Lodge #1264 and 32nd degree Scottish Rite. He also received a 55 year pin and lifetime membership from Carpenters Local #502. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith Ozio; and sons, Donald and Dwight Ozio. Survivors include his wife, Altie Ozio and children, Phoebe Dalgo of Plaucheville, LA, Mary Robin of Vidor, TX, Wayne Ozio and wife, Debbie of Nederland, TX, Wanda Gotte and husband, Harold of Vidor, TX, Karen Hinton and husband, Tim of Plaucheville, LA; thirteen grandchildren , twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend David Myer officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Todd Robin, Craig Robin, Shane Gotte, Corey Gotte, Roderick Gotte, and Kacy Gotte. Honorary Pallbearers will be Derrick Wales, Michael Robin and Joey Ledet.
