Marcelle Sybil Neel

Marcelle McElwee Saunders Neel, 89 of Orange, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Texas. Marcelle was born December 12, 1923 in Grant Parish, Louisiana to Newt Warren Murrell and Una Ross Stephens Murrell. She was a Port Arthur area resident for 76 years and member of Providence Church. Survivors include her two sons, Kenneth W. McElwee and wife Debra of Orange, and James K. McElwee and wife Eileen of Orangefield; granddaughter, Wendy Houtz and husband Brad of Liberty Hills; two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Shelby Houtz. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday June 14, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Clay Faulk , pastor of Providence Church will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
