Margaret Eakin

Margaret Eakin, 93, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Margaret was born November 10, 1921 in Eddy, Texas to Charles L. Clark and Rebecca Turner Clark. She was a resident of Groves for 60 years and retired owner of Mer-Mac Equipment. She was a longtime member of Groves First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her two sons, Tim Eakin and wife Jeannette of Groves, TX, Randy Eakin and wife Lisa of Groves, TX; three grandchildren, Doug, Caitlin, and Courtney Eakin; two great-grandchildren, Amber and Dillon Eakin. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Marty Boddie officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
