Margaret Rose Metcalf

Margaret Rose Metcalf, 90, of Nederland passed away, Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 16, 1924 in New Iberia, Louisiana to the late Valture Joseph Norris and Eunice Romero.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Father Kevin Badeaux officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Melancon’s in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Friday with a scriptural rosary to be held at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Metcalf is survived by her daughters, Pat Duff and husband, Lonnie of Tomball, Pam Guarnere and husband, David of Port Arthur, Janet Savoy McCormack of Nederland, and Sherry Metcalf Heintschel and husband, Bruce of Pearland; sons, James Metcalf of Nederland, and Greg Metcalf and wife, Nancy of Houston; sister, Margie Duplantis and husband, Carl of Nederland; brother, Ronald Norris of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
