Margie A. Dumesnil, 73, of Port Neches died, Tuesday April 26, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 29, 2016 at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Rev. Shane Baxter officiating, with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday evening with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
Mrs. Dumesnil was a native of Fouke, Arkansas and lived in Port Neches since 1978. She retired from J.H. Jones Company as the office manager, and a member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Community in Port Neches.
Mrs. Dumesnil is survived by her husband, Charles Dumesnil; two daughters, Teresa Bradford and her husband Bryan of San Antonio, and Jill Dumesnil and her husband Ben Wood of Juneau, Alaska; son, John Dumesnil and his wife Shana of Flint, Texas; 5 grandchildren, McKenna Bradford, David Dumesnil, Dylan Wood, Hayley Dumesnil, and Jacob Dumesnil. Also she leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request the memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
