Marie Belaire Strain Laramore, 89, a native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Opelousas, Louisiana. Marie was born February 8, 1923 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to Alberie Belaire and Elenor Guidry Belaire. She was a longtime resident of Groves, Texas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elbert "E.P." Strain, and her brother, Clarence Belaire. Survivors include her husband, Raymond "R.C." Laramore of Groves, TX; sister, Jeannette Deville and Jerry O'Connor of Breaux Bridge, LA; nieces, Elizabeth Trouille and husband, Brent of Opelousas, LA, and Susan Deville of Broussard, LA; nephew, Michael Deville of Opelousas, LA; one great-niece, four great-nephews, one great-great niece and one great-great nephew. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Burial followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends was held on Saturday from 12:00 noon-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
