Marie Oline Loyd

Marie Oline Loyd, 80, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away January 25, 2011 at her home. She was born March 11, 1930 in Cow Island, Louisiana to the late Charles Zepheren and Marie Blanche Dartez Breaux. She was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, and has been a resident of Port Acres for 54 years.She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Homer Loyd of Port Arthur son, Joseph Nanson Harrington of Leesville, Louisiana daughter, Cynthia Lehman and husband, Michael of Atlantic Beach, Florida 4 grandchildren, Marcus Harrington, Victoria Burns, Connor Lehman, and Lauren Lehman and brother, Elwood J. Breaux. She is preceded in death by her parents 2 brothers, John and Murphy Breaux and 2 sisters, Gladys Lemaire and Ruby Lege.A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, in Nederland with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Melancon39s Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
