Marie "Tut" Stelly, 91, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, Texas.
She was born April 26, 1930 in Port Barre, Louisiana to Arthur LaHaye and Julia Hollier LaHaye.
"Tut" moved to the area in 1951 and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
She was co-owner of Stelly's Deli in Baytown from 1983 to 1988.
"Tut" was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 73 years, Elie Stelly, Jr., sister, Velma Guillory, brother, Reme Guillory, grandson, Scott Bergeron, great grandson, Elie Doucet, daughter in-law, Jana Stelly.
A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with funeral services to follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include daughter, Geraldine Pratt and husband Monroe of Groves, Texas, sons, Barry Stelly and wife Sue of Groves, Texas, Steve Stelly and wife Jill of Minnesota, Robert Stelly of Groves, Texas 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses at Oak Grove Nursing Home for their wonderful care over the past weeks.
