Marjorie Jessie Chatagnier, 85, of Port Arthur passed away August 14, 2012 at Cypress Glen Nursing and Rehab in Port Arthur. She was born September 2, 1925 in Port Arthur to the late Arthur James and Beatrice Jessie Walters Philpott.A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Charles Wolfe officiating. Services are under the ion of Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland.Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Beverly Yancey of Port Neches, Mary L. Champagne of Port Arthur, and Debra Duhon of Port Arthur 8 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and sisters, Linda Taliaferro of Port Acres, Elsie Richard of Baytown, and Rose Coats of Groves. She is preceded in death by her parents husband, Joseph Mayo Chatagnier brother, Arthur Philpott and sister Ruby Bearden.
