I met Mark back in 1985 when he and his quartet The Midnight Rogues performed at the Texas Sesquicentennial concert at PN-G High School. The quartet was warming up in the choir room, and I was blown away with how they sounded so good. He taught me a barbershop song tag, and I was hooked! He had an amazing bass voice! I am very sorry to hear of his passing!

To the Keel and Werner families, Please accept my sincere sympathy for Mark. As an employee at MOTIVA I had the pleasure of meeting Mark as he worked his gate security post at our Port Arthur refinery. I enjoyed many positive encounters and short conversations with him while driving in and out of plant. I miss him. Tony Patrone

You will be missed my friend. I know how much you missed your mom and I also know your much happier you are now. I wished you really realized how much other's loved and cared about you. I'm sure your mom greeted you with open arms. I remember the conversation we had about a year ago..... what a wonderful voice you had. Now you will be singing with the angels. The people that loved you and knew you will find comfort in knowing you are at peace now. Denise you should find comfort in knowing Mark talked about you and Colton with great pride. There is a celebration in heaven welcoming Mark, for we know that this is the second phase of life and he will live forever eternally. I will remember your family Mark during this time of sorrow. Karen

My sincere sympathy to you, the family and friends of Mark. Especially to you, Charlie, and Denise. Losing those family members whom we dearly love and who have been part of our lives for so many years is indeed difficult. May God grant you His peace and comfort. Find joy in knowing Mark became a child of God at his baptism and you will see him again in heaven.
