Mark Stuart Turnage, Sr., 68, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Mark was born February 1, 1951 in Monroe, Louisiana to John Willard Turnage and Jackie Estep Turnage. He was a resident of this area for 4 years and the Loss Prevention Manager at Ross Department Store. Mark served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1968-1970 where he earned a Purple Heart. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10:00 a .m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jackie Turnage, son, Mark Stuart Turnage Jr., sister, Pamela Bigby, nephew, Joshua Bigby, brother-in-law, Henry Hornbeck, son-in-law, Brad Guilbeaux, and father-in-law, JC Scalia Sr,. Surviving relatives include his wife of 28 years, Leigh Scalia Turnage of Port Neches; daughters, Julie Kuhn and husband Heath of Port Arthur, Staci Guilbeaux of Port Neches, and Kim Cherry of Port Neches; brother, John Turnage and wife Liz of Waco; sister, Brenda Hornbeck of Vienna, VA.; 13 grandchildren, Jordan Turnage and wife Desaray, Maraya Turnage, Amber Turnage, Savanna Hartman and husband Josh, Brandon Huddleston, Jessi Huddleston, D.J. Turnage, Dakota Kuhn, Shelby Kuhn, Jacob Guilbeaux, Graci Guilbeaux, Chasity Smith and husband Justin, and Destiny Gaspard; 12 great grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy, Carlee, Allison, Eythen, McKinzie, Victoria, Rylee, Brett, Rider, Remi, and Addi.
