Martha Jean Beasley, 86, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017. Martha was born July 19, 1930 in Beaumont, Texas to John D. Faulkner and Gladys Aulbaugh Faulkner. Martha was a graduate of Baylor University and was employed with Nederland Independent School District as a Special Education teacher until her retirement in 1982. After retirement she and her husband moved to San Augustine, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in San Augustine and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Martha loved to travel and was a lady of many talents. She was an amazing cook and cake decorator. She also enjoyed making baby blankets and beaded Christmas stockings which she embellished. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harold Beasley. Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Henry and her husband Tom of Bridge City, Madelene Matthews and her husband Ken of Renton, WA, Marsha Osborn and her husband Gary of Dallas; son, Ronnie Beasley and his wife Raney of Groves; Corwyn and his wife Lisa Beasley; grandchildren, Katie Matthews, Kendra Matthews, Shaun Boudreaux and his wife Michelle, Chris Henry, Morgan Beasley, Kinsey Brunelli and her husband Jake, Timothy Lloyd Beasley, Christopher Dean Beasley and his wife Michelle, Lisa Garbe and her husband Joe, Cindi King and her husband Matt; and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 17, 2017 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Silas, Texas under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home-Groves.
