I hadn’t the pleasure to know Mrs. Chance, except through the affectionate memories of her eldest daughter, Martha Anne Wootten. Martha spoke lovingly of her mother’s dedication to her family and the church. Martha shared her memories of her mother's sewing skills - which she utilized in the pandemic, sewing masks for others. A testament to her dedicated service to the community in which she lived. My deepest condolences to Martha Anne Wootten and her extended family.

My precious aunt Martha was a wonderful Christian lady who loved her Lord ! She was a hoot to be around & had a fantastic sense of humor ! She loved her Lord & went the extra mile to help less unfortunate ! She loved her family & was so proud of her children & grandchildren & her great grands ! She was a wonderful aunt to me & more of a " mom" to me ! I loved her dearly & I will miss her everyday ! We know where she is at , in Heaven with her Lord & all our loved ones who already gone to be with Jesus ! I can just see her twin , Mary meeting her at the pearly gates& grabbing her hand & skipping down the golden streets of Glory , singing praises to God .

Ms. Martha was a lovely friend and wonderful encourager for me. She supported me in my ministry at Fellowship and was always steadfast in her love for The Lord. Heaven’s getting sweeter all the time.

Aunt Martha was so precious to me. But It wasn't until I moved to Texas 7 years ago that I was able to spend time with her as an adult. What great fun she was to be around. She loved her family and friends but above all she loved The Lord. She was such an inspiration. Mary Wind
