Martha Graham, 101, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Port Arthur Community Home. Mrs. Graham was born September 14, 1909 in Jasper, Texas to Leonard Young and Cenie Taylor Young. She was known as "Aunt Dot" or "Dottie Bill", and was a resident of Groves for 73 years and a member of Groves First Baptist Church. She worked for many years as a retail sales clerk at Pat Wood Drug Store, Dryden's and White House Department Store. She was also a member of the Groves Eastern Star Chapter #953 and had served as Worthy Patron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Graham; son, Elwyn Lee Graham; and sister, Adell Turner. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Caldwell and husband, Clyde of Nederland, TX; son, Gene Graham and wife, Linda of Hemphill, TX; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
