Martha Marie Timmerman

Martha Timmerman, 84, formerly of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. Martha was born November 14, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee to Frederick Hankey and Ida Koehler Hankey. She was a resident of the Port Arthur area for 46 years before moving to San Antonio 6 years ago. She was a retired Licensed Vocational Nurse from Park Place Hospital and member of Pecan Valley Church of Christ in San Antonio. Martha was preceded in death by her son, W. M. Timmerman, Jr. Survivors include her husband, William "Mack" Timmerman of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Iva Timmerman and husband, Hector Caldera of San Antonio, TX, Patsy Goss and husband, Alec of Nederland, TX; son, Frank Timmerman and wife, Bonnie of Hondo, TX; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Mr. Frank Timmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
