Dear Nadine,Allen just called me to let me know about Marvins passing. I cant tell you how shocked and saddened I was to hear it. You and Marvin were two of my very favorite classmates at LaGrange in the early 50s. Through the years I have often thought of you both and thought you were two of the finest people I have ever known. More recently as we reconnected at the 50th LaGrange reunion, and later, during the occasional visits we shared during the time Marvins mother and mine were roommates at Grand Cove, it reconfirmed my admiration for you both. In this time of great sadness and difficulty, Lynda and I send our condolences, our sympathy, and our prayers to you and your family. With all our wishes and love,Bill

Nadine, I am so sorry that I cant be there to give you support but I know that you and Marvin had many friends that will comfort you. I just had to cry when I saw the photo of Marvin as it reminded me of the good times we had while I stayed with you a few years ago and also when you were here at Cherry Hill. Marvin still looked good at that time and that is the way I want to remember him. Have faith my darling friend and God will surely be holding you in the palm of His Hand for as long as you need Him to. I love you Nadine and I shall always remember the love I had for my Kissing Cousin.Margie

Our hearts are heavy because we have lost such a dear friend. Marvin had such a love for life, family, and friends and enjoyed sharing many of the special moments he and Nadine experienced. I loved his voice, his choice of words, mannerisms, and the way his eyes would smile as he told his stories What a privilege to have known such a kind and generous man. The greatest privilege is to have sat close to Marvin and Nadine at FBC and worshipped together and enjoyed many fellowships. We praise God for His promise that Marvin has eternal life and that He is the presence of the Savior. May your memories keep Marvin forever close at heart.

Marvin was certainly one of the things that ever happened to the Texas Artists Museum as well as the entire community, and his loss will be felt for a long time. It is such a blessing to know that that Nadine and the rest of his family can be comforted to know that he went home to be with his Heavenly Father and will have no more pain or suffering. The ones we love are never gonethey live within our hearts. May all of you take comfort in the sweet memories of a beautiful life that was Marvin Kebodeaux.
