Marvyl June Potter

Marvyl “June” Potter, 97, of Groves, passed away on December 17, 2022, at The Medical Center of SETX in Port Arthur, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend George Hearne.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. on., Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.

Marvyl was born in Patterson, Louisiana, on June 20, 1925, she was the daughter of Cisero Young Driggers and Hilda Gomez Driggers. She married the love of her life William A. Potter III. She retired from DuPont, Orange Refinery as a Secretary after many years of service. She also previously worked at Hanford Site in Washington where the atomic bomb was made.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband William A. Potter III.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Potter Warner of Groves, TX; and Cindy Potter Rambin of Groves, TX; grandchildren, Blake Rambin, and his wife Lilia; Taylor Rambin and his wife Kassie; great-grandchildren, Brooks, Breana, Mason, and Paxton.
