Mary A. Borel

"Mary" A. Borel, 83, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. Mary was born November 19, 1926 in Donner, Louisiana to Clarence Himel and Edna LeBoeuf Himel. She was a 60 year resident of the area and member of the Catholic faith. She especially enjoyed sharing time with her family, dancing every Friday and Sunday, and her trips to the casino. Mary was loved and will be greatly missed by her family, dancing family, and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Borel, Sr. Survivors include her daughter, Marie "Lou" Denzlinger of Nederland, TX; sons, Homer Borel, Jr. and wife, Janis of Port Neches, TX, James J. Borel and wife, Nancy of China, TX, Michael Paul Borel and wife, Darylann of China, TX, Larry Borel and wife, Bonnie of Nederland, TX; sisters, Anna Hebert of Franklin, LA, Linda Ashly and husband, Carol of Franklin, La; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m.with a Vigil Service at 6:00p.m.at the funeral home.
