Mary Charlene Martin, 71, of Port Neches, Texas passed away March 28, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was born on February 4, 1942 in Horatio, Arkansas to the late Charles Stephen and Mary Rena Beeson James. A funeral service will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Jerry Fenter officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Charlene is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, R.N. Tiny Martin. She is survived by her daughters, Lexy Dianne Barton and husband, James of Port Neches and Melissa Boyd of Big Wells her son, James Jimmy Martin of Port Neches her grandchildren, Ashley Charlene Boyd and Caitlin Leanne Boyd her greatgranddaughter, Averi Reyn Boyd brothers, Steve James, Richard James, Roy James, Tony James, and Mark James and sisters, Anita Weaver, Susan Phelps, and Debbie Jones.In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Alzheimers Association, Beaumont Regional Office, 700 North Street, Ste. M, Beaumont, TX 77701.

So sorry to learn about Charlenes death. I remember her living down the street from us. We lived on Ave A by the park lived next door to her SisterInLaw Margie. My parents were J.P. Williams Aubrey Williams Charlene went to PNG with my sister Elaine Williams. My prayers are with you all.
