Mary Colby, 92 of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at her residence. Mary was born in Port Arthur, Texas on June 14, 1925 to the late Grady Poore and Willa Stanfield Poore.
Mary is survived by her son, Brian Clark Colby and wife, Cindy of Dallas, Texas; sister, Maxine Ferrell of Orange, Texas; grandsons, Colin Colby and Casey Colby; and great granddaughter, Eleise Colby.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her sister, Mavis Bennett.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Morgan, officiant. Services are under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas.
