Mary Louise Domingue, 92, of Nederland, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves. She was born May 24, 1921 in Port Arthur to the late James McCarry and Mattie Clifton and lived in Nederland since 1999.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Msgr. Kenneth Greig officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday, with a Christian Vigil to be held at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Carolynn Blanchard of Groves; three sons, Delton Domingue Jr. and his wife, Patti of Cypress, Mark Domingue of Beaumont, and James Domingue and his wife, Penny of Groves; also surviving are her sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Delton Domingue Sr., her daughter, Shelia Domingue Hilton, and her son-in-law, Jerry Blanchard.
