Mary Estelle Simonton Lanclos, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend died on December 04, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Jan. 21, 1920 in Sabine, Texas to Annie and Captain Jackson Allison Simonton. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Port Arthur Business College. She owned two businesses, was an active leader in her church, Bethel Temple for over 73 years, was active in leadership roles in Community Bible Studies, was a delegate to the Republican National Convention, and was a published author of Christian books. She had a ready laugh and great sense of humor, and a genuine love for all. Her door was always open, her coffee pot brewing, and a smile for all who entered. She lived independently and was driving until her death. She gave credit for this to her abiding faith in Jesus Christ. She lived fully and will be missed by many.
