Mary Fenn, 87, of Groves died peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas to Alex and Emelie Broussard on May 20, 1927 and graduated from St. James High School. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and was an extremely accomplished seamstress. She also liked to garden and her backyard was a wonderland of flowers and birds. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She will be deeply missed by Francis, her husband of 67 years, her daughters Linda Fenn of Groves and Karen Norwood of Orange, as well as her son Mickey Fenn and his wife Tresa of Nederland. She is survived by her grandchildren Stacey Norwood Vickers and her husband Matthew of Dickinson, TX; Kevin Norwood and his wife Deedra of Tomball, TX; Keith Norwood and his wife Lindsey of Mauriceville; and Brock Fenn of Nederland. She was also the proud great grandmother of Chloe and Emma Vickers, Parker, Case and Cole Norwood, and Graham Norwood. She is also survived by her beloved niece, Annette Stokes. Serving as pallbearers are Kevin and Keith Norwood, Brock Fenn, Matthew Vickers, Ted Calhoun, Danny Rombs, and honorary pallbearer Parker Norwood. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Mary's name to the charity of your choice.
