Mary Smith Harvey, age 80, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Gulf Health Care in Port Arthur. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Beaumont to the late Frank Arnold Marks and Lillian White. She worked in the medical field as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Patti Dean and husband, Jerry of Beaumont, Susie Smolsky and husband, Joey of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Jake, Missy, Nicole, Melissa, Carrie, Matt, Travis, and Joanna; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Griffin; and brother, Sam Marks and wife, Odean. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Gray, Sr.; and son, Robert R. “Tully” Gray.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
