Mary Hathaway Conn, 78, of Port Arthur passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Houston Methodist Medical Center. She was born on June 22, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to George and Rita Perron Hathaway. Mary was a lifelong area resident and was retired from Sears as a department manager after 12 years of service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Clarence Conn. She is survived by two daughters, Laurie Culbertson and husband David of Port Acres, TX and Pattie Huddleston and husband Allen of Wallis, TX, brother, Henry Hathaway and wife Karol of Sour Lake, TX, four grandchildren, Layne Culbertson and wife Leslie, Chad Culbertson and wife Jayme, Megan Huddleston and Mandy Huddleston and two great grandchildren, Jaxon Culbertson and Cayne Culbertson.
