Mary Helen Partridge Shirley, 92, of Port Neches, passed away June 10, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 27, 1919 in Munday, TX to the late Roscoe Conklin and Willie May Myers Partridge. Helen has been resident of Port Neches since 1941 and was an elementary school teacher in Fannett. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Frank quotF.A.quot Shirley of Port Neches three sons, Richard Carroll Shirley of Newport, NC, Jerry W. Shirley of San Diego, CA, and Ronnie L. Shirley of Pearland, TX 7 grandchildren, Donna Fite, Jim Shirley, Matthew Shirley, Andrew Shirley, Jonathan Shirley, Karen Stanley, and Mary Shirley 12 greatgrandchildren and sister, Jeanelle Owen of Thailand. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Harold J. Partridge sisters, Olive Mae Krause, Wanda Sue Meeks and Fay Erickson.A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1900 Magnolia Avenue in Port Neches. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Port Neches with Rev. Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Homebound Ministry of Port Neches.

To the family,I send my sincerest sympathies. I loved Mrs. Shirley very much. She was a woman of Great Faith.
