I first met Mary when I was in grade school. The further down the line I went to work at gibsons (1965) and as everyone there, loved her. I knew most of the Landry kid's and to those of you remaining, my sympathy.

In all my world travels I have never come across anyone so loving, caring and giving as my mother. She was liked by everyone who met her. She did not have a bad streak in her being; she loved everyone and gave willingly of her time and money to help people. Sometimes not returned but it never bother her in the least way, she keep on loving and giving unconditionally! I have met a lot of people worldwide in my life time from all religions and cultures, and if any deserved to have a peaceful afterlife, Mary Vell Landry, My mom is my very top choice. She was also a loving and caring wife to my dad, George Wilson Landry, whom I give my condolence to for his loss of a lifelong partner. I know he will miss her most of all. God Bless you both! Your loving son Dale Wilson Landry

Mary and I worked at Gibson's department store. She took me under her wing even though she had around five kids of her own. She knew I loved spaghetti and would invite me over when she made it. Her kids would all laugh at me because it was very spicy to me and I would take a drink after each bite. We lost contact over the years but I have thought of her often. I tried contacting her but wasn't successful. I would love to have her spaghetti recipe so I could eat it and think of her. She was a great lady and very talented. I remember her re-doing the upholstery in her daughter's car in the rolling pleated style. She did a magnificent job. She was always busy but would always make time for you. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Thank you for always being there for me without fail, for being my mother as well as my grandmother, for being my inspiration in life and making me into who I am today. I am so grateful to have had you in my life and not a day will go by when I won't think of you and miss you deeply. I promise I will make you proud. I love you Momo. May we meet again.
