Mary Lou Fitch

Mary Lou Fitch, 91, of Groves passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy, Texas. She was born on November 27, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Frank and Margaret Williams Taylor. Mary Lou was a longtime area resident and member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Arthur. She was also a member of P.E.O. and several bridge clubs. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with burial to follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Fitch, Jr., son, Jeffery Nolf and two sisters, Nancy Simonin and Etta Hawthorn. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Schubert and husband Gary of Katy, TX, step-daughter, Sally Strunk of Austin, TX, two sisters, Dorie Froehlich and Judy Smith both of Pennsylvania, brother, William Taylor of Michigan, six grandchildren, Taylor Schubert, Chase Schubert, Keri Strunk, Darren Strunk, Philip Strunk and Laura Strunk and four great grandchildren.

Mary Lou and Earl took dance lessons from me. They were lots of fun and enjoyed them both. Sorry to learn of her passing. She was a lovely lady. I know her family will miss here. RIP Linda & Joey Hebert
