Mary Elizabeth Ramsey, 90 of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Texas. Mary was born October 25, 1921 in Huntington, West Virginia to Andy Roles and Mable Richards Roles. She was a resident of Groves for 66 years and member of First Baptist Church of Groves. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eustace "Gooch" Ramsey. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Hale and husband, William of Kirbyville; sons, William Hill Ramsey and wife, Denise of Austin, John Martin Ramsey of Vidor, Cecil Linn Ramsey and wife, Linda of Brookeland; brother, Bill Roles and wife, Eleanor of Port Neches; nine grandchildren, Tammy, Tracy, Sean, Allen Paul, Susan, Sheila, Laura, Lori, Sheri and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
