Mary Lynn Showalter

Mary Lynn Showalter, 67, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Promise Hospital in Nederland, Texas. Mary Lynn was born July 3, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to Raymond Parsons and Monezelle Botkin Parsons. She was a lifelong area resident and retired from Groves Library as a librarian after 8 years of service. She was also a member of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Survivors include her partner Ronald Cricchio and family of Groves, TX; daughter, Laura Rach and husband, Steven of Port Arthur, TX; grandchild, Becklend Rach; brother, Richard Parsons of Denton, TX; nieces, Cindy Erdman and husband, Steve and their daughter Haven, Terri Patton and husband, Rusty and their son, Casey Patton; nephews, Randy Hawkins, James Hawkins, Jr. and wife, Val and their daughters, Danielle and Jamie. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Clay Faulk, pastor of Providence Church officiating.
