Maudrey "Tish" Frith LeMaire

Maudrey “Tish” Frith LeMaire, 88, of Port Acres, Texas passed away August 19, 2018. She was born in Forked Island, Louisiana on November 27, 1929 to the late Felix Horatio Frith, Sr. and Estelle Mires Frith.

Maudrey is survived by her sister, Anita Smith of Houma, Louisiana; her grandson, Aaron LeMaire and his fiancée, Heather Low of Nederland; and her great-grandchildren, Haleigh LeMaire, Anthony LeMaire, Asher LeMaire, all of Nederland; and her loving godchild and caretaker for the past 11 years, Shelva Dean Miguez of Port Acres.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lurcy LeMaire; her son, Russell Wayne LeMaire; and her siblings, Sanford Frith, John Frith, Camella Frith, Joseph Lloyd Frith, Oscar Horace Frith, Mae Carrie Trahan, Audrey Gaspard, Ervin Frith, Felix Horatio Frith, Jr., Huey Frith, Mary Esther Suire, and Juanita Crochet.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Saturday, September 1, 2018 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

I remember the Frith and Lemaire Family well, Good people. The ones I knew were Just unbelievable Strong..I guess this was her Brother who was A Machanic had A shop. I was his paper boy, when I'd go by there he'd show me how he could lift the back of A pick up truck..One of her Neices could lift weights as much or more then us..Anyway Most people new that in Port Acres...I just had to tell that Story.. RIP.Mrs. Maudrey...( God Bless this Family ) Mike Calais . Port Acres Tex.

RIP dearest Aunt Tish...I have such fond memories of you. You purchased my first pair of hot pants as a teenager...I loved shopping with you...I will never forget how good you could cook and how devoted you were to our Lord...I will always love you...Sabrina Sue...
