Maurice "Moe" Hardy Eaton, Jr.

Maurice Moe Hardy Eaton, Jr., 69, of Nederland passed away on October 3, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on August 31, 1943 in Castine, Maine to the late Maurice Hardy Eaton, Sr. and Emma Gertrude Eaton. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland and for many years he drove a paper route.Funeral services will be held at Melancons Funeral Home, 1605 Ave H in Nederland on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Maurice is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Harris Eaton and wife, Pam of Nederland sister, Candace Moraczewski and husband Jerry of Cedarville, Pennsylvania 6 nieces one nephew and 10 great nieces and nephews.

I will always remember Moe coming to bowling with his friends. He always had a smile on his face. Always had a hug for me when he came in. We have lost a beautiful person. You rest now, and i will keep routing for them cowboys for ya.
