Maxie Earl Stimac

Maxie Stimac, 87, of Nederland passed away Saturday November 12, 2011 at his residence in Nederland.A gathering of the family and friends will be from 9:00am to 10:00am on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland with a rosary at 10:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland under the ion of Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.Mr. Stimac was born September 13, 1924 in Town Bluff to the late Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Stimac and lived 58 years in Nederland. He retired from Arco Polymers in Port Arthur after 25 years of service as a Shift Foreman. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.Mr. Stimac is survived by his wife, Jean Stimac of Nederland daughter, Rhonda Short and husband Art of Friendswood son, Max Stimac, Jr. and wife Suzanne of Oconomowoc, WI brother, James Stimac of Orange sister, Ann Vyvial of Rosenberg 4 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren.
