Maxine Youngblood, 90, of Kountze, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 2, 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her parents were Eurel M. Bradham and Susan Truitt. Maxine lived in Port Neches for eighty-seven years and enjoyed her new home in Kountze for the past two years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Port Neches and a member of Port Neches Order of the Eastern Star # 677. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Edwin B. Youngblood. Surviving relatives include three sons, Mike Youngblood and wife Angie of Kountze, Texas, Owen Youngblood and wife Suzette of Goldendale, Washington, Ken Youngblood and wife Marie of Lake Charles, Louisiana; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
