Melissa Ann "Missy" Deslatte, 32 of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Missy was born August 13, 1979 in Galveston, Texas. She was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother-in-law, David Talbert. Survivors include her husband, Joey Deslatte of Groves; parents, Michael and Diane Green and David Vidalier; daughter, Destiny Deslatte; son, Gavin Deslatte ; sisters, April Adaway and husband, Chad of Port Neches, Lisa Talbert of Port Neches, and Dana Green and fianc� Chris of Groves; grandmother, Della Vidalier and a proud aunt of three nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, Texas with Brother Kenneth Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

I have such GREAT Memories of Missy and her Sisters. They new me as "The Candy Lady". I would bring them candy everytime I visited. The Smiles on they're faces were priceless. I am Sooo...Glad I have those memories to remember. The SMILES Never stopped as they grew up and became Mothers. Missy is and was Deeply Loved and She will always be Deeply Missed. Diane and All the Family, This is the hardest thing a Mother or family has to endure but GOD will help You thru. Although I hadn't seen this amazing family in years I thought of them often. My sister and I grew up and with Missy and the girls. Diane was like a mom to us, and my heart is broken for all of you. I never got to know her babies but thank God that they have her wonderful family and father to remind them everyday how amazing their mother was. I will never forget that mischevious giggle and beautiful smile. I love you Missy may you have peace.
