Melissa Lynn Domingue, 58, passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2024. She was born and raised in Nederland, Texas to Paul and Sylvia McFarland on October 11, 1966.
She attended Highland Park Elementary, Central Junior High, and Nederland High School. She was known for having a perfect attendance record throughout her entire school career. She met the love of her life in 1986 and they were together for 38 years at the time of her passing.
She was known as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and an amazing friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sylvia McFarland. Those left to cherish Melissa’s memory are her husband Todd Domingue and her sons Brandon McFarland, Logan Domingue and wife Katie Domingue, Shane Domingue and wife Cody Domingue. She is also survived by her grandsons Kaden Domingue and Johnny Domingue. She leaves behind three siblings Michael McFarland, Tim McFarland, and Kristi McFarland. The pallbearers are those as named Aaron McFarland, Dylan Van Metre, Robert Holt, Keith Reese, Dwight Rives, Josh Shirley, and Brayden Hickman.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday morning, December 31st, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Mrs. Domingue’s funeral service will follow the viewing at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.
