I can only say that the world seems dimmer without the ray of sunshine that was Melody Jane LeBlanc. She never failed to greet me with a smile that was so infectious you couldn't help but smile, and a hug that seemed to touch my soul. She always called me Mom, I never knew quite why, maybe because my son was her friend or maybe we just had a special connection, one that I share with Kay as well. I never questioned it because I took it as the highest honor a woman can receive and was very proud that she thought that much of me and it made me feel loved and appreciated as she and Kay both have always done. She was very loving and kind and concerned about her friends and families, both biological and her Spindletop family.She will always have a special place in my heart and I will miss her dearly. I know that when the Angels carried her to her forever home with her Heavenly Father she must have had the biggest smile ever, to be renewed and reunited with her loved ones that had went before her. Rest in Peace dear sweet Melody. I will always love you.

I first met Melody when her Mom was a patient at Dr. Arsenio Martin's office. It never failed when I would run into her and Kay in the community, I always got a hug and an update on the family. I once again ran into Melody when my daughter Ashton Balsamo started attending Spindletop center. When I heard of her passing I immediately thought that she is reunited with her mom and dad. I will miss her cheerful personality and hugs. Fly sweet angel. I know momma and daddy are happy to see you again.
