Melvin L. Dubois

Melvin L. Dubois, 74, of Groves passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. Melvin was born on February 28, 1940 in Lena, Louisiana to Ralph Dubois and Delsie Guinn Dubois. He was a resident of the area for 48 years and a retired Maintenance Supervisor with Unocal with 37 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Mynone Dubois and brothers Ralph, Melton and Felder Dubois. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend David Myer officiating at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Melvin is survived by his daughter Brenda Dubois of Groves, son Brett Dubois and wife Donna of Groves and Brady Dubois and wife Amy of Ruston, Louisiana, sisters Betty and Bertha, brothers Brent, Bruce, Richard, Michael and Oughton, grandchildren Kayla, Shane, Grant, Laurel and Ella Dubois, two great grandchildren.
