I will always remember her beautiful smile! Even after not seeing me for years, she remembered my name the night we helped her up at her home. We have all lost a wonderful friend, but have great memories of Mrs. Silkwood. Our prayers are with you all. God Bless your entire family Linda. What a wonderful woman you had for a mother. Aunt Merle was dear to me. I remember every Summer when I was little that she would come to Mama's (Biggs) house so she could go to the Danville picnic. I remember the fried chicken and the pecan pies her and Grandma H. (my grandma/ her sister Billie Jean) would make. It was always a big event and something to look forward to each year. This is was one of many Memories I have of Aunt Merle when she would come visit us in Longview/Kilgore. We will miss you dearly. But give Grandma and H, Mama & Papa and Karen a HUGE hug from us! Love you! Sandra, Jeanie, Cindy, Scot
