I had not seen Pete for many years, but the newspaper photo took me back to those days at Bishop Byrne when Pete was in my English class-it seems like yesterday. I remember his cooperative attitude, his quick wit, and his ever-ready smile. Pete was a part of some of my best memories as a teacher. Pete and all who loved him are in my prayers today.

Our time working together in the recent years, on projects out of town, made that time away from home and family so much easier with him. Hanging out with Pete was the best! He always had a story and constantly made us laugh. I will miss him...

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Pete. He was a childhood neighbor of mine. I will never forget his energy and passion for playing outside with all the neighbor kids. For some reason, my dad had a special place in his heart for Pete. I remember us driving to Beaumont for he and Pete to get a haircut from my Uncle Joe's brand new barber shop. It's funny how you remember the little things in life and then, in death? Mr. Bub, Mrs. Antoinette, Chad, Loretta, Marla, and John please know that you will all be in my prayers. I won't even begin to understand the feelings you are going through, but I pray that fun and loving memories will fill your hearts with peace very soon. God has another great one. Love to all of you.

Pete and I worked together for 20 years. I am actually 7 days older than him. When his great smart sense of humor came out :-) I would tell him that is "Yes mam, to you". I periodically texted with Pete and in one of our last text I stated to him "God had a plan for you and we are praying for you". Pete's reply was this (which is so true) Well Kat, I've already achieved so much ... Greatest Dad Greatest Grandpa Greatest husband ... twice Greatest Electrical Designer Not sure what's left??? LMAO Even thou I didn't see him everyday at work anymore I will miss Pete awesome smile, personality and upbeat SOUL. He would light up the room when he walked in and if you were down or depressed you wouldn't be after Pete got finished with you. Rest well my friend and my tears are for the joy you now have in heaven. Aaryn, my prayers and condolences. You are one lucky girl to have gotten to experience Pete on a daily basis. XOXO

I worked with Pete off and on since about 1980 up until I retired a few years ago and he was always my best friend at work. He was smart and worked hard and did a good job. He was friends with everyone and always had a great smile. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Very generous and great sense of humor. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He loved his family and showed it. He died way too young, which is all of our loss. My prayers go out to his family. He will always be with them in their hearts. I feel blessed to have known him. Duncan & Janie McDowell

I was sad to hear the passing away of Pete Wyble with whom I worked for three years at CBI. Though we all know that we all have to leave this physical world and yet it is always so difficult to see the loved ones complete their physical journey on this earth and continue their spiritual journey to higher levels. It will always be difficult to feel his absence. Before going to India on an assignmennt, Pete would call me often to get tips and was anxious but on his return to the US he told me that, inspite of the local conditions and the initial cultural shock of an alien culture, he fell in love with the people, the food and the history and was planning to take his wife on an extended vacation to India. He even inquired about the "Palace on Wheels" Train that runs in Western India and wanted to spend a few days with his wife at the Falaknuma Palace Hotel at Hydrabad. Pete was so full of life. We will miss you Pete. -ashwini (ash) munjal Houston, Texas

I worked with Pete at Weiner's in Port Arthur in the 80's and went to school w/ him at Bishop Byrne. He was one the most genuine and good at heart people I have ever met and was always in a good mood. I was very sad to hear that he is gone. As many years as it's been since I've seen him, I can still picture his smiling face. I know he will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Pete.

Petie, I'm going to miss you. I pray that your family and friends will hold your memory in our hearts, learn from your life, and think about you often.

Pete was a dandy! While employed at CB&I in Beaumont, Pete did a few tours at a plant on Trinidad, a small island off the coast of Venezuela. He knew I worked late so we would Skype and visit. It was tough on him being away. We'd chat, tell stories. Once he returned to the States, we would go eat often at TAZ. Pete loved his Indian food. Pete would tell stories of he and Aaryn's vacations, and I would tell him how I lived vicariously through those vacation stories. He had a good life and was a good man. He'll definitely be missed. Thoughts with all the family. So sorry for the loss. Again, he was a dandy.
